A recent Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox — on a phone or a computer, it makes no difference. There's nothing to install: if your browser can handle a video call, it can handle ChatPig.

Almost always it's a browser permission, not a broken camera. Click the lock icon next to the address bar, set Camera to Allow, then reload the page. Also check that no other app (Zoom, FaceTime, Teams) is already using the camera.

Check the microphone permission the same way as the camera, then make sure the correct input device is selected in your system settings. If you're on a headset, unplug and reconnect it, and close other apps that might be holding the microphone.

Freezing is usually the connection, not the camera. Get closer to the router, pause any big downloads or streams in the background, close unused tabs, or hop between Wi-Fi and mobile data. Starting a fresh match often helps too.

Every user gets 10 free matches each day, and the allowance resets daily. Each match you start uses one. When they run out you can come back tomorrow, or choose an optional upgrade — the price is always shown before you pay.

Matching usually takes a few seconds, but the wait depends on how many people are online at that moment and on your connection. Very late nights in your region can be quieter — trying again or switching to voice or text mode usually connects you faster.
